THE SERIES:
The Kennesaw State baseball team heads to the Bluegrass State for a three-game weekend Atlantic Sun Conference series against Northern Kentucky, the first trip to Highland Heights for the Owls in program history.
 
KSU looks to keep the nation's longest win-streak alive on Friday afternoon in a 3 p.m. ET series opener followed by a 1 p.m. ET first pitch on Saturday and a noon ET matinee on Sunday.
 
The Owls continue the five-game road trip with a 27-20 overall record, 12-9 in the A-Sun, while the Norse remain at home with a 14-31 mark and a 6-15 standing in league play.

LAST OUTING:
With a five-run eighth inning against Georgia State on Wednesday night, the Kennesaw State baseball team completed the come-from-behind win and the season sweep, downing the Panthers 11-6 at the GSU Baseball Complex.

NEXT UP:
The Owls will play their final non-conference game of the season this Tuesday, May 13, at 5 p.m. ET with a contest against Western Carolina.

Owls in the Tourney
With an ETSU series sweep over Upstate this past weekend, the Owls have clinched a spot in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Conference postseason tournament.
 
Pentecost at the Plate
Pentecost now ranks No. 2 in the nation in total hits with his 83 and holds the longest active hit streak in the country at 28 games and counting.
 
Winning Ways
The 13-game win streak for KSU is now the longest active in the nation and is the longest for the Owls since joining the NCAA Division I ranks.

The Owls are back in the top 10 in the nation in total hits with 502. KSU also ranks in the top 50 in total runs this season with 292.
 
Double-Digit Hits
As a team, the Owls have now played 29 games with double-digit hits including 13 out of the last 14 contests.
 
McCalvin Sets the Standard
Closer Justin McCalvin set the new standard for saves in the KSU record book, earning his 10th of the season at Georgia State to set a new KSU single-season record.
 
Multi-Hit Games
Pentecost now has 28 games with multi-hit games including 10 with three and two with four and has two or more hits in each of the last nine games.
