The Kennesaw State baseball team returns to the diamond after a weekend off this Wednesday, May 7, as the Owls head south to take on cross-town rival Georgia State.
 
Game time is set for 6 p.m. ET as the Owls look to continue the nation's longest win streak of 12 games, sitting at 26-20 on the year, while the Panthers hold a 23-25 record.

With a 4-for-5 night from catcher Max Pentecost, the Kennesaw State baseball team took its 12th straight victory on Wednesday night, trumping Georgia Southern for the second time this season, 9-3.

NEXT UP:
The Owls return to A-Sun play this upcoming weekend, taking on Northern Kentucky in Highland Heights, Kentucky for a three-game stretch. Game one is scheduled for Friday, May 9, at 3 p.m. ET.

Owls in the Tourney
With an ETSU series sweep over Upstate this past weekend, the Owls have clinched a spot in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Conference postseason tournament.
 
Pentecost at the Plate
Pentecost now ranks No. 2 in the nation in total hits with his 80 and holds the longest active hit streak in the country at 27 games and counting.
 
Winning Ways
The 12-game win streak for KSU is now the longest active in the nation and is the longest for the Owls since joining the NCAA Division I ranks.

The Owls are back in the top 10 in the nation in total hits with 486. KSU also ranks in the top 50 in total runs this season with 281.
 
Double-Digit Hits
As a team, the Owls have now played 28 games with double-digit hits including 12 out of the last 13 contests.

Senior Bo Way has made his way into the top five in the conference in total hits with 61, 14 of those going for extra bases.
