KENNESAW, Ga. – Matt Bahnick sent his second home run of the season over the left field wall and sent the Kennesaw State baseball team off in style, capping off the 2014 regular season with a win over North Florida, 1-0.

The 1-run win in the bottom of the 10th made it five straight Atlantic Sun Conference series sweeps for the Owls and makes KSU the No. 3 seed in the upcoming postseason tournament.

Kennesaw State ends the regular season with a 33-21 overall record having won 19 of its last 20 games and sits KSU at 17-9 in the league standings.

The Owls and Ospreys (22-29, 11-16) played scoreless ball through the first 9  nine innings, both coming up with opportunities in regulation, UNF putting three runners in scoring position and KSU putting on one.

Bahnick then stepped up to start off the bottom of the 10th, sending the sixth pitch he saw off of UNF pitcher Corbin Olmstead just over the outreached glove of left fielder Garrick Ferguson, giving KSU its second consecutive walk-off win.

The junior third baseman was the only KSU player with multiple hits, going 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Catcher Max Pentecost also had one of the six total KSU hits, extending the nation's longest hit-streak to 35 games.

James Connell took the win with one inning of work not allowing a hit and striking out one, his fifth win of the season. Gabe Friese went the first six giving up just five hits before Nathan Harsh took the next three giving up just one.

The Owls will face off against No. 6 seeded East Tennessee State on Wednesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. ET in Fort Myers, Florida, for game one of the A-Sun Tournament.
