KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State's
Natan Reuter and
Martynas Sedys swept the Outdoor Track and Field Atlantic Sun weekly awards following their performances at the Penn Relays.
Reuter became the first Kennesaw State student-athlete to break the 30-minute mark in a 10,000-meter run as he crossed the finish line in a time of 29:42.82. He leads the A-Sun in the event by over two minutes, while ranking 83rd in the nation and 38th in the NCAA East Region. This is his first Outdoor Track Performer of the Week Award.
Sedys finished in eighth in the hammer throw at the historic Penn Relays with a throw of 61.82m. Currently, he ranks first in the A-Sun for the event by 11 meters, while also ranking 38th in the NCAA and 22nd in the east region. This is his second career Outdoor Field Performer of the Week award and first this season.
