KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team will play its final home match of the season when it plays host to North Florida in an Atlantic Sun Conference match at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta on Friday (Apr. 4) beginning at 9 A.M. (ET).
Friday will also be Senior Day as KSU honors the careers of
Alexandra Apostu and
Tamara Plocher. Apostu leads the Owls with a 13-3 singles dual-match record, including a 12-2 mark at the No. 2 position. Plotcher and Gabriella Bueno picked up a win in doubles for the Owls in Wednesday's match against Mercer.
The Owls (5-11, 1-4) return to action after dropping a close 4-3 match to Mercer on Wednesday ( Apr.2).
North Florida enters the weekend with a 11-4 overall record, including a 4-0 mark in A-Sun Conference play after defeating East Tennessee State and USC Upstate over the weekend. The Ospreys dropped a non-conference match to Florida State last Saturday (Mar.30).
