THE OPPONENT:Georgia TechThe Yellow Jackets enter Wednesday's contest with a 22-20 overall record and are coming off a 7-1 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday, only their fourth win since March 19. GT holds a 17-12 advantage at Mewborn Field and last took a 8-3 loss to the Owls on March 26 for the 2014 Lexi's Day at Bailey Park.

LAST TIME OUT:The Kennesaw State softball team fell 2-1 to Atlantic Sun Conference leader USC Upstate in the first of three scheduled games against the Spartans on Friday afternoon (April 18) at Cyrill Softball Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C., as the second and third contests were cancelled due to heavy rains in the area. Senior pitcher
Amanda Henderson took the loss despite only giving up two runs on five hits, while striking out seven in a complete game effort. Sophomore
Missy Perkowski led the Owls offensively, going 1-of-2 with a run, while junior
Natalie Rhodes added a hit and an RBI in the setback.
NEXT UP:Kennesaw State returns to Bailey Park for its final regular season series of the season as the Owls host East Tennessee State in a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27. KSU and ETSU will play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by the regular season finale on Sunday. First pitch for both days is set for 1 p.m. ET. Angie Dascoli leads the Owls and ranks 10th in the conference with a .359 batting average in overall action, while freshman
Taylor Denton ranks fifth in A-Sun play with a .394 average. She also ranks fourth in the conference with 28 hits in conference action, as well as sitting in a tie for fourth with 19 runs scored.
Chambers in A-Sun PlaySophomore
Kara Chambers ranks 10th with a .373 batting average in A-Sun play, while also ranking in a tie for fourth with 19 runs scored and tied for ninth with 25 hits in league games.
Multiple Hit GamesDenton holds a team-leading 16 games with multiple hits, 12 with two and four with three, while Dascoli, Chambers and junior
Natalie Rhodes own 14 multiple hit games.
Stolen BasesDenton, Chambers and Rhodes have combined for 31 stolen bases on the year, with Denton taking 11 in 15 attempts, Chambers stealing 10 in 12 tries and Rhodes earning 10 in 13 attempts.
TriplesRhodes ranks in a tie for third in the A-Sun and 56th in the NCAA with three triples on the year. The junior also owns a 1.000 fielding percentage, having not committed an error in 44 games.

Amanda Henderson leads the A-Sun and is 34th in the nation with 175 strikeouts. She also owns the second-most wins and ranks 41st in the NCAA with 17 victories this season.
Owls in A-Sun ActionThe Owls own the third best batting average in conference play with a .298 average, while ranking third in A-Sun play with 181 hits and are the co-leaders with four triples in league action.
Fielding PercentageKSU owns the best fielding percentage in A-Sun play at .976 and the third-best fielding percentage in overall action at .965, which ranks 67th in the nation, while committing the third-lowest number of errors with 46 total errors, including a league-low 14 miscues in A-Sun play.
