Photo Gallery | Jay Moseley Interview | Final Round Tee Times | Live ScoringBRASELTON, Ga. – Kennesaw State turned in a second-round 7-over par 285 and sits in second place after the two rounds of the 2014 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Golf Championships that are being played at the par-72, 7,032-yard Legends Course at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Braselton.
The Owls are at 7-over par 583 two shots behind Mercer, which carded a 3-over par 291 on Monday and leads the 10-team field with a 5-over par 581.
East Tennessee State and North Florida are tied for third at 16-over par 592. Jacksonville (603) is in fifth and followed by Lipscomb (615), USC Upstate (616), Northern Kentucky (619), Florida Gulf Coast (623) and Stetson (626).
Junior
Austin Vick posted a 2-under par 70 to lead Kennesaw State during second-round play and is one shot behind Mercer's James Beale, who leads the individual standings with a 1-under par 143. Vick is tied with three others players for second place.
Freshman
Teremoana Beaucousin, who led the first-round lead following a 3-under 69, shot a 4-over par 76, is in sixth place at 1-over par 145. Junior
Jimmy Beck and redshirt-junior
Kelby Burton are tied for eighth with 4-over par 148 totals, while freshman
Chris Guglielmo is tied for 21st at 8-over par 152.
