The Owls and the Hatters will play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday. First pitch for both days is slated for 1 p.m. ET.

THE PROMOTIONS:There will be a Shane Co. bag giveaway for Saturday's doubleheader. On Sunday kids will be able to run the bases following the conclusion of the game as well as a post-game autograph session.
THE OPPONENT:StetsonThe Hatters come in to this weekend's series sitting in second place in the A-Sun standings with a 28-6 overall record and a 12-2 mark in conference action. Stetson had its 13-game win streak snapped in its last outing as the Hatters dropped a 1-0 decision to UCF on Wednesday night. Stetson leads the A-Sun with a .322 team batting average and ranks second with a 1.66 earned run average.

LAST TIME OUT:The Kennesaw State softball team used a fifth-inning rally to earn a 5-4 come-from-behind win over rival Mercer in Atlantic Sun Conference play on Wednesday night (April 9) at Bailey Park. Senior
Angie Dascoli put up a 2-of-2 performance with two RBI for the Owls, while senior pitcher
Amanda Henderson struck out eight en route to her 16th win of the season.
NEXT UP:Kennesaw State heads west to Birmingham, Ala., for their second-to-last nonconference opponent as the Owls take on UAB in a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 15 starting at 2 p.m.
NEWS AND NOTES:KSU in A-Sun ActionThe Owls lead the A-Sun in conference play with 162 hits and four triples, while ranking in a tie for third with 23 doubles.
Fielding PercentageKSU owns the best fielding percentage in A-Sun play at .977 and the fourth-best fielding percentage in overall action at .965, while committing the third-lowest number of errors with 41 total errors, including only 11 miscues in A-Sun play.

Taylor Denton and senior
Angie Dascoli lead the Owls and rank in a tie for eighth in the conference with a .368 batting average in overall action, while Denton ranks second in A-Sun play with a .435 average. She also leads the conference with 27 hits in conference action, sits in a tie for second with 18 runs scored and is tied for fifth in overall play with 46 total hits this season.
Chambers in League PlaySophomore
Kara Chambers sits sixth with a .414 batting average in A-Sun play, while also ranking in a tie for second with 18 runs scored and 24 hits in league games.
Multiple Hit Games Denton holds a team-leading 16 games with multiple hits, 12 with two and four with three, while Chambers and Dascoli own 13 multiple hit games, junior
Natalie Rhodes with 12 and senior
Sara Sikes with 10.
Stolen BasesDenton, Chambers and Rhodes have combined for 28 stolen bases on the year, with Denton taking 11 in 14 attempts, Chambers stealing nine in 11 tries and Rhodes earning eight in 11 attempts.
TriplesRhodes ranks third in the A-Sun and 38th in the NCAA with three triples on the year. The junior also owns a seven-game hitting streak and is holding a 1.000 fielding percentage, having not committed an error in 39 games.

Amanda Henderson leads the A-Sun and is 28th in the nation with 157 strikeouts. She is also the conference co-leader and ranks 34th in the NCAA with 16 victories this season.
