JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis opened the final weekend of the regular season with a 7-0 setback to No. 66 East Tennessee State in an Atlantic Sun Conference match Friday afternoon at the Buddy Hartsell Courts in Johnson City, Tenn.
The match marked the first time during the 2014 dual match season the Owls (8-10, 2-5) failed to score a point in a match this season The Buccaneers (11-8, 6-0) won all three doubles matches and swept all six singles contests.
First-year head coach Eduardo Rincon and Kennesaw State team will close out the regular season on Saturday (Apr. 12) when it visits USC Upstate at 2 p.m. (ET).
