WT: Owls Hit the Road to Close Out the Season

KSU will travel to East Tennessee State and USC Upstate this weekend.

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team will play its final two Atlantic Sun regular season matches on the road this weekend.
The Owls will open the weekend Friday (Apr.11) with a match against East Tennessee State at the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex beginning at 2 p.m. (ET). The Owls will then travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina for a match on Saturday (Apr.12) with USC Upstate at the Upstate Tennis Complex at 10a.m. (ET).

The Owls (5-12, 1-5) return to action after dropping a match to North Florida on Friday (Apr.2). KSU is looking to capture a spot in next weekend's A-Sun Conference tournament in Jacksonville, Florida.

ETSU enters the weekend with a 10-8 overall record, including a 5-1 mark in A-Sun Conference play after defeating USC Upstate over the weekend.  USC Upstate (2-17, 1-5) was knocked off by East Tennessee State last weekend.
 
Virginie Stein, the reigning A-Sun Player of the Week, has won two straight singles matches, and pushed her dual season record to 9-6 overall. Stein leads the Owls with a 5-1 singles record in A-Sun Play.  Stein, along with her doubles partner Alexandra Apostu have become one of the most prolific doubles teams in the Atlantic Sun in recent weeks.  The duo have won seven straight matches, have a record of 8-2 overall, and are 6-0 in the Atlantic Sun.
