KENNESW, Ga. | STILLWELL STADIUMGAME NOTES | LIVE STATS | LIVE AUDIO | LIVE VIDEOTHE SERIES:The Kennesaw State baseball team remains at home this weekend, taking on Stetson in a crucial Atlantic Sun Conference three-game series starting on Friday, April 11, at 6 p.m. ET. 
Friday night's series opener will be a Senior Citizen's Night, where fans 65 and older will receive half price admission. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday and 1 p.m. ET on Sunday for Greek Day with the first 250 fans through the gate receiving a special giveaway from YP.

THE OPPONENT:Stetson looks to make headway in the A-Sun standings this weekend, sitting at just 2-8 on the year with a 14-20 overall mark. The Hatters hold a staff ERA of 4.71 and are hitting just .249 as a team.

LAST OUTING:The Owls made it two-in-a-row on Wednesday night as the Kennesaw State baseball team got the best of Jacksonville State, 11-4, with an 11-hit performance at Stillwell Stadium.
NEXT UP:The Owls head back on the road for four games next week, starting on Tuesday, April 15, for a 6 p.m. ET midweek contest at Georgia State.
NEWS AND NOTES:Owls in the NationThe Owls are ranked No. 12 in the nation in total hits with 357. KSU also ranks in the top 50 in total runs this season with 204. 
Tough on the MoundAlong with the offensive prowess this season, KSU has also been tough on the mound, striking out 7.8 batters per nine innings and holding a staff ERA of 4.00. 
Small BallKSU has been playing small ball well this season, laying down a total of 43 sacrifice hits including 27 bunts, 16 sacrifice flies and 37 stolen bases. 
Pentecost Playing WellMax Pentecost continues his stellar performance at the plate, now coming in at No. 7 in the nation with 55 hits this season. The catcher also holds the longest active hit streak in the A-Sun at 17 games and counting.
Simmons at the PlateKal Simmons, who sits at has also reached base in 32 of the team's 36 games, also ranks in the top 40 in hits in the country with 41 and has 14 games with multiple hits. Simmons is the only player in the KSU lineup to have started at the same position all season, filling the shortstop spot. Catcher 
Max Pentecost has seen action in all 36 as both a catcher or a designated hitter. 
Way For Extra BasesBo Way now has an extra base hit in four consecutive games after belting a two-bagger in each of the Owls games at FGCU and a triple against Jacksonville State. Way now holds a slugging percentage of .451 with 12 of his hits going for extra bases. 
McCalvin in ReliefJustin McCalvin has risen as one of the top relief pitchers in the land, posting a 1.43 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 37.2 innings pitched. The righty is now sixth in the nation in WHIP with a 0.72 mark.

Mike Sansing is closing in on win number 900 at the helm of KSU baseball, currently sitting at 899 in 23 seasons with the Owls.
