KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State softball team opened its 2014 Atlantic Sun Conference schedule on a positive note as it swept a doubleheader from visiting North Florida Saturday afternoon at Bailey Park in Kennesaw.

Â
Senior right-hander
Amanda Henderson earned the victories in both games as she improved to 9-4 on the season after starting the opener and pitching 2.2 innings of relief in the second game.
Â
After falling behind 6-0 in the first inning of game one, Kennesaw State chipped away at the Ospreys (15-7, 1-4), scratching out a pair of runs in the bottom half of the first and three more in the second inning to make it a one-run game at 6-5.
Â
North Florida countered with a run in the third inning before the Owls exploded for five runs in the fifth inning to take their first lead of the game at 10-7. Â Sophomore

Â
A two-out walk to sophomore
