DeLAND, Fla. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concluded its weekend trip to Florida with a 6-1 loss to Stetson at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand, Fla.
 
After yielding the doubles point, the Owls (5-10, 1-3) scored its lone point at No. 2 singles as senior Alexandra Apostu recorded a straight set victory over Andrea Crespo, 6-4, 6-4.
 
Apostu also teamed with junior Virginie Stein to register an 8-7 win at No. 1 doubles.
 
The Owls are next in action on Wednesday (Apr. 2) when they host Mercer at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta. Match time is slated for noon (ET).
