KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team returns to Atlantic Sun Conference play this weekend when it travels to Florida for a pair of matches.
The Owls open play on Friday (Mar. 28) when they visit Fort Myers to take on Florida Gulf Coast at the FGCU Tennis Complex beginning at 11 a.m. KSU concludes the weekend on Saturday (Mar. 29) when it faces Stetson at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand beginning at 10 a.m. (ET).
The Owls, who are 4-6 on the season, including 1-1 in A-Sun Conference play, will look to rebound after falling 4-3 to Chattanooga on Thursday (Mar.20).
FGCU enters the weekend with a 9-7 overall record and a 2-2 mark in conference play following a 6-1 victory over Albany on Sunday (Mar.23). Stetson begins the weekend with a 10-4 overall record and 1-3 mark in conference play. The Hatters are coming off a 5-2 loss to North Florida on March. 22.
The Owls are led by senior
Alexandra Apostu who boasts an 11-2 singles dual-match record, including a 10-1 mark while playing at the No. 2 position.
