"I am proud of the way the team hung on today," Kennesaw State head coach
Rhyll Brinsmead said. "We gave up a lot of shots on holes 4-9, but the team never gave up and continued to work hard to make pars and birdies.
"To shoot 299 today in breezy conditions with tough pin locations was a good all-around effort," Brinsmead added. "I'm very proud of Kaew's focus the last two days as she has played smart golf."
Freshman
Dulcie Sverdloff is tied for 23rd with a 6-over par total of 150 after posting a 1-over par 73 on Saturday. Junior
Ines Lescudier turned in a second straight 76 and is tied for 31st and 8-over par 152.
"Ines had a great back nine today and I know she is capable of going low tomorrow (Sunday), Brinsmead said. "She proved last week that she is one of the best players in the nation. Dulcie also has shown great tenacity the past two days as she hasn't been feeling well, but continues to post good scores regardless. It's very important for us to finish well tomorrow and finish our road trip on a strong note."
