PROMOTIONS SCHEDULE | SOFTBALL SCHEDULE
 
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State University Department of Athletics released its promotions schedule for the upcoming 2014 softball schedule, with Owls fans getting an early look at some of the exciting events that will take place during home games this season at Bailey Park.
 
The schedule of promotions kicks off with schedule card and poster giveaways throughout the home opening Kennesaw State-Georgia Tech Crossover tournament on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22, as well as the Owls' Atlantic Sun Conference series opener against North Florida on March 8-9.
 
When the Owls meet Mississippi State on Tuesday, March 11 fans will be treated to a license plate frame giveaway.
 
KSU hopes to "Pack the Park" on Tuesday, March 25 as the Owls face Georgia State. Spring Break Tank Tops will also be given away to all Kennesaw State students prior to the contest.
 
A high point for fans and the softball team every season is Lexi's Day, which will take place on Wednesday, March 26 when KSU faces crosstown rival Georgia Tech. Lexi's Day is an event to raise funds and awareness for the Alexis Kaiser Foundation, which was established to help Alexis Kaiser and other children with special needs. There will also be a postgame autograph session immediately following the conclusion of the game.
 
When the Owls host rival Mercer on April 9, the softball team will partner with the KSU baseball team to host a Crawfish Boil. At this event fans will have the chance to dig into a selection of food consisting of jambalaya, corn, potatoes, and 500 pounds of crawfish.
 
The final weekend of regular season action will be a busy one for the Owls, as KSU will celebrate Senior Day for Amanda Henderson, Stephanie Phillips, Angie Dascoli, Carly Van Auken, Bianca Durant and Sara Sikes on Saturday, April 26 prior to the first game of a doubleheader against East Tennessee State. On Sunday's finale against the Bucs, the Owls will host Alumni Day along with Sundae Funday at the Park.

Other promotions to keep a look out for include one dollar cokes and hotdogs for the doubleheader against Furman on Wednesday, March 12, as well as a Shane Company drawstring bags giveaway prior to the games against Lipscomb on Saturday, March 22 and Stetson on April 12. Kids will have a chance to run the bases around Bailey Park after the Owls take on Lipscomb on Sunday, March 23. There will also be a postgame tennis ball toss following the Sunday, April 1 game against Stetson. Finally, fans can play Sunday Bingo on March 9, March 22 and April 27.

The Owls opens the 2014 campaign in Troy, Ala., for the Troy Subway Invitational on Feb. 7-8.
