THE GAMES:
The Kennesaw State softball team (6-5) hits the road for the USF-Under Armour Invitational, hosted by South Florida on Feb. 28-March 2 at the EC Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater, Fla.
At the Invitational, the Owls will face Loyola Marymount at 4:30 p.m. and Temple at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Toledo at 2:15 p.m. and Villanova at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and No. 14 Stanford at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

THE SERIES:
It will be the first-ever meeting between the Owls and four opponents, Loyola Marymount, Temple, Villanova and Stanford, while Toledo holds a 4-0 advantage over KSU.
LAST TIME OUT:
Kennesaw State went 2-2 in the Georgia Tech-Kennesaw State Crossover, dropping two contests to No. 21 Tulsa, 1-0 and 6-1, on Friday, before earning a 4-0 victory over Stony Brook, 4-0, and a dramatic come-from-behind 7-6 win over Georgia State on Saturday.
NEXT UP:
The Owls return to Bailey Park for a midweek contest against Georgia Southern on Wednesday, March 5 at 6 p.m.
NEWS AND NOTES:
Fielding Percentage
The Owls own the second-highest fielding percentage in the Atlantic Sun Conference at .972 with 225 putouts and 86 assists, including six double plays, while only committing nine errors on the season.
Stolen Bases
KSU is a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen base attempts, with their 13 stolen bases ranking fifth in the conference for more stolen bases.
Strikeouts
The Owls rank third in the A-Sun in batters struck out with 66 strikeouts in 48 innings.
Henderson in the Circle
Senior pitcher
Amanda Henderson leads the Owls in the circle with a 5-2 record and owns a 1.75 ERA. She ranks in a tie for third in the Atlantic Sun Conference with 38 strikeouts, while only giving up nine earned runs in 36 innings.
Batting Average
Sophomore
Megan Veringa leads the Owls with a .353 batting average and two homeruns, while senior
Angie Dascoli ranks second on the team with a .345 average.
Doubles
Sophomore
Courtney Sutter ranks third in the league in doubles with five on the season and leads the Owls with 10 RBI this season.
