Final Results
RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. – Kennesaw State junior
Jimmy Beck birdied the 18th hole to move into a tie for first place after 54 holes and force a playoff at The Farms Intercollegiate Invitational that concluded Tuesday at the par-72, 6,947-yard The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

Beck, who posted his third top 10 showing in five events this season, fell in a one-hole playoff to San Diego's Grant Forrest, who birdied the 18th hole while the Owls' junior recorded a par. The Columbus, Ga. native concluded the tournament with a 6-under par 210 following rounds of 71-69-70. Forrest produced scores of 67-72-71.

Beck's effort helped Kennesaw State to a second-place finish in the 12-team event after the Owls posted rounds of 285-295-294 for a 10-over par total of 874, six shots behind the host Toreros who recorded scores of 283-292-285 for a 4-under par score of 860.

Loyola Marymount (883) finished third, while Pacific (884) and Duke (887) placed fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Owls' second place showing marked their fourth top three showing in five tournaments this season.

Freshman
Chris Guglielmo (223), tied for 20th, while senior
Jonathan Klotz and sophomore
Carlos Segura Oliva tied for 24th with 8-over par 224 scores, and junior
Austin Vick (226) tied for 31st.

Kennesaw State is next in action on Mar. 2 when it opens play at the Colleton River Shootout in Blufton, S.C.
