WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams wrapped up their second day at the Hilton Garden Invitational and carried the momentum they created from the first day into the second day just like Director of Track and Field
Andy Eggerth wanted.
"Our teams showed up ready to compete this weekend, and I'm proud of the way our student-athletes performed," Eggerth said."This is what we've come to expect out of ourselves. It's fun when the momentum gets rolling and the records keep falling! There's still plenty of improvement to be had though. We are ready for another week of focused practice, so we can fullfill what we are capable of at the A-Sun Championship."
The team broke seven school records and over 20 athletes set new personal records this weekend.
