FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Kennesaw State junior
Ines Lescudier is currently tied for 11th place midway through the second round of the season-opening Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic that opened Monday at the par-72, 6,352-yard Ptmarmigan Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo.
Lescudier opened play with a 2-over par 74 and was at 4-over par through 12 holes before weather suspended second-round play. She is currently 10 shots off the pace set by UNLV's Dana Finkelstein who has a four-shout advantage over four players who are tied for second at 1-under par.
Cal leads the 17-team field at 10-over par and holds a one-shot lead over New Mexico which is at 11-over par. The Golden Bears shot a first-round 3-over par 291. Kennesaw State began its 2013-14 season with a 28-over par 316 in round one and is currently in 13th place at 43-over par.
Junior
Kaew Preamchuen recorded a 7-over par 79 in the first round, while freshman
Dulcie Sverdloff posted an 80 and sophomore
Brittany Jarrett turned in an opening round 83.
