Jacksonville, Fla – The Kennesaw State men's and women's cross country teams ran in their second race in as many days at the 110% North Florida Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, August 31.

The men's team ran first this morning and was once again led by junior
Brett Carter who ran a 16:43.0 and placed ninth.
Â
The women were led by freshman Lilly Kidane who finished in 19:35.6 and was good for ninth place.
Sydney Williams finished right behind her in 10
th with a time of 19:43.4.

To round out the scoring for the women,
Greciana Cooper came in 16
th place with a time of 20:06.4,
Shelby Wilson took 18
th with a time of 20:19.6, and
Clair Bohrer finished 20
th in 20:27.6.

"We accomplished what we wanted in Jacksonville this weekend. The men and women got in some great workouts against some good competition,"
Joel Pearson said."

"This weekend has shown us that we can be competitive in the Atlantic Sun this year."

The Owls will get back to training and will run again in three weeks at the Georgia State Invitational on Friday, September 20
th.
