EUGENE, Ore. - The Kennesaw State men's track and field 2013 outdoor season concluded on Saturday June 8, as sophomore Andre Dorsey finished 14th overall in a field of 24 at the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Oregon.
Dorsey's leap of 15.59m (51-05.75) was his second-best of the season, and earned the Chalmette, La. native Second Team All-American honors.
"Andre has concluded the collegiate portion of an outstanding sophomore campaign," Head Coach Andy Eggerth said. "From not making NCAAs as a freshman to being two-time All-American is a great achievement. There is a whole lot more left in the tank, so we are looking to see even bigger things at the US Championship and into the future."
Eggerth and the men's and women's track and field teams will now begin to focus on training for the 2014 seasons which gets underway with cross country events in the fall.
