KENNESAW, Ga. – After eight seasons with the Kennesaw State tennis program, including the last four as the men’s head coach, T.J. Greggs has announced his resignation in order to pursue other career opportunities.
Greggs guided the men’s tennis program to a 31-53 (.369) record. The 2012-13 squad finished 5-14 overall and 2-6 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, including the program’s first-ever win over rival Mercer.
The program made history this past season when sophomore
Louis Theodor became the first-ever Owls men’s tennis player to earn A-Sun Conference Player of the Week honors. The Owls also garnered the most all-conference selections in program history with freshman
Maksim Yorsh becoming the initial Owl to be named Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun and freshman
Tobi Menhofer named to the All-Freshman Team, the third-consecutive Owl to do so.
A national search for the next Kennesaw State men’s tennis head coach is underway.
