Ines Lescudier advanced to the quarterfinals of match play at the 2013 Ladies British Open Amateur Championship that concluded Saturday at the Machynys Peninsula Golf & Country Club in Llanelli, Carmarthernshire, United Kingdom.
Lescudier reached the quarterfinals of match play after posting a first-round 7&6 victory over Abi Laker (England) and defeating Lauren Hillier (Wales), 2&1. The Marseille, France native’s run came to an end in the quarterfinals when she fell 4&3 to Emma Carberry (England) on Friday.
Lescudier reached match play after placing 26th in stroke-play qualifying. In Tuesday’s opening round, Lescudier posted a 5-over par 77 before shooting and even-par 72 on Wednesday to finish with a 36-hole total of 5-over par 149.
