KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State softball team will step outside of Atlantic Sun Conference play for a single game against Alabama State on Wednesday, April 16. First-pitch is set for 5 p.m. (ET) at the Barbara Williams Softball Complex in Montgomery, Ala.

Kennesaw State (27-16, 11-10) dropped its regular season series with Stetson over the weekend as the Owls and the Hatters split their doubleheader on Saturday, before Stetson clinched the series with a 4-2 win on Sunday.
Alabama State (9-28) enters Wednesday’s contest, which is the final home game of the season for the Hornets, coming off of a weekend sweep of Alcorn State.
The Owls previously faced Alabama State this season, taking two from the Hornets at the Georgia Southern Eagle Classic on March 1-3. KSU opened the tournament with a 4-2 win over ASU, before closing the weekend with a 5-0 victory on Sunday.
Kennesaw State next hosts Jacksonville in its final home weekend series of the season at Bailey Park. KSU and JU will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 20, followed by a single game on Sunday, April 21. First-pitch for both days is set for 1 p.m.
