MATCH NOTES
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team will look to advance to its first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference Championship as the Owls host its final two matches of the season this weekend. KSU first battles USC Upstate on Friday, April 12 at 2 p.m. (ET), followed by a 10 a.m. match against East Tennessee State on Saturday, April 13. Both matches will be held at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
Saturday will also be Senior Day for the Owls as the careers of seniors

Nathan She will be celebrated.
KSU (5-12, 2-4 A-Sun) is coming off one of the best weeks in program history as the Owls posted their first-ever win over Mercer, a 4-3 decision in Macon on Saturday. Sophomore
Louis Theodor went 2-0 against the Bears, first teaming with freshman
Tobi Menhofer for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
With the match knotted at 3-3, Theodor then clinched the win for the Owls in thrilling fashion with a 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-4) victory over Arsav Mohanty on court four. It was his second-straight win in both singles and doubles, and the team-leading eighth win for Menhofer and Theodor at No. 1 doubles.
For his efforts, Theodor garnered the program’s first-ever A-Sun Player of the Week honor, the conference announced on Wednesday.
USC Upstate (8-10, 2-4 A-Sun) comes in having posted back-to-back wins after defeating Northern Kentucky, 5-2, and Lipscomb, 4-3 last weekend. The Spartans are deadlocked with the Owls and Mercer for the sixth and final spot in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Conference Men’s Tennis Championship.
East Tennessee State (9-6, 5-1 A-Sun), ranked No. 74 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, enters the match on a four-match winning streak, earning 7-0 victories in its last three outings against NKU, Lipscomb and Florida Gulf Coast.
Kennesaw State will find out if it will continue play with the A-Sun Championship following the conclusion of all matches this weekend.
