KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics will be holding auditions to fill the role of mascot “Scrappy” for the 2013-14 season from 6-8 p.m. Apr. 23 at the athletics practice facility off of Big Shanty road.
Scrappy will represent Kennesaw State at most home athletic events, as well as during other school functions and community programs. Some travel is required, and applicants must have availability on evenings and weekends.
Those selected will also have a chance to make history by making Scrappy’s debut appearance in football related media as well as at the first game of the upcoming 2015 season.
All candidates should be energetic, dependable, outgoing individuals who interact well with children.
Individuals trying out will be judged based on how will they perform during the audition. It will be comprised of pantomiming activities, dancing, and reacting during situational scenarios.
REQUIREMENTS:
To try out, you must be a student currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University with minimum GPA of 2.5.
All applicants must also be under the height maximum set at 6’.
