MATCH NOTES
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s team will look for its first Atlantic Sun Conference win with a pair of road matches this weekend. The Owls will travel to Nashville, Tenn., for a match against Lipscomb at the Hutson-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center at 2 p.m. (ET), followed by KSU’s first-ever match against league newcomer Northern Kentucky at the Joyce E. Yeager Tennis Complex on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. (ET).

The Owls (3-11, 0-3) dropped two last weekend, falling against Stetson, 7-0, on Friday, before a 6-1 setback to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday. Sophomore Alexander Pena earned the lone KSU point in the FGCU match, delivering a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-2) win over Dylan Gunning at No. 5 singles. Pena also combined with senior Gokalp Ozdemir for an 8-5 win over Lance Lvovsky and Jackson Moore at No. 3 doubles.

Louis Theodor own a 6-8 record at No. 1 doubles for KSU.
Lipscomb (5-8, 1-2) has two-straight matches after losing five in a row earlier in the season and last posted a 6-0 win over NKU in Nashville. The Bison’s two A-Sun losses have come against FGCU (6-1) and Stetson (4-3).
Northern Kentucky (3-11, 0-3) have lost four-straight matches and last won on March 13, against Chicago State, 6-1, in Orlando, Fla. The Norse has dropped three conference matches, falling to Stetson (6-1), FGCU (7-0) and Lipscomb (6-0). Andre Correa leads the Norse with a 7-7 record in singles action and has teamed with Guillaume Berman to post a 3-2 doubles mark.
The Owls continue their road trip with a 2 p.m. match at Mercer on Saturday, April 6.
