MARIETTA, Ga. – Freshman Maksim Yorsh and senior Gianni Kubin combined for a 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles, but the Kennesaw State men’s tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Stetson on Friday, March 22 at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center.
 
Kennesaw State falls to 3-10 on the season and 0-2 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, while the Hatters improve to 11-1 and 3-0 in the league.
 
Sophomore Alexander Pena and senior Gokalp Ozdemir pushed Cahit Kapukiran and Nathan Debut to the brink at No. 3 doubles, but eventually fell 9-7.
 
In singles action, freshman Tobi Menhofer looked to force his match on court one to a third set, but dropped a 6-1, 7-5 decision to Didrik Berg.
 
Kennesaw State continues its home stand as the Owls host Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, March 23 at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center. First serve is set for 11 a.m. (ET).
