MATCH NOTES
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women’s tennis team travels to Florida for a pair of matches this weekend, as the Owls open Atlantic Sun Conference play on Thursday, March 14 against North Florida at the UNF Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Fla., at 10 a.m. (ET). KSU is also set to face Bethune-Cookman on Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m. at the City Island Tennis Courts in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Kennesaw State (4-6, 0-0 A-Sun) is coming off of a 4-3 come-from-behind win at South Carolina State on Saturday, March 9. After dropping the doubles point and at No. 4 singles, junior

Isabela Castro evened the match at 2-2 with wins at No. 2 and No. 6 singles. KSU fell behind once again after the Bulldogs registered a victory on court five to move within one point of taking the match.
Sophomore
Jana Hueckinghaus then delivered a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 decision over Klara Dohnalova at No. 3 singles, to set up heroics from sophomore
Virginie Stein on court one. The 2012 Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year sealed the win with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 victory over Maria Craciun.
North Florida (7-3, 0-0 A-Sun) has registered three-straigh wins, including a 5-2 defeat of then-No. 61 College of Charleston on March 6.
Bethune-Cookman (10-7, 2-1 MEAC) last earned a 5-2 win over Lehigh on Wednesday and own a 7-2 mark in home matches this season.
Kennesaw State continues A-Sun action on Friday, March 22 against Stetson at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga. First serve is slated for noon.
