JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team fell in its Atlantic Sun Conference opener against North Florida, 7-0, at the UNF Tennis Complex on Thursday, March 14.
The Owls move to 2-8 on the season and 0-1 in league play, while UNF improves to 7-6 and 1-0 in conference action.
Senior
Gokalp Ozdemir and sophomore Alexander Pena tallied the duo’s third doubles victory of the season on court three, an 8-6 win over Pedro Davisson and Leonardo Nahar, but the Owls could not get anything going in singles play to take the loss.
Kennesaw State will next face Bethune-Cookman on Friday, March 15 at the City Island Tennis Courts in Daytona Beach, Fla. The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. (ET).
