MATCH NOTES
KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s team travels to the state of Florida for a trio of matches this weekend, including its Atlantic Sun Conference opener at North Florida on Thursday, March 14 at 2 p.m. The Owls will also face Bethune-Cookman on Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m., followed by a neutral site match against Green Bay on Sunday, March 17 at Noon.
KSU (2-7, 0-0 A-Sun) last dropped a 6-1 decision at home to East Carolina on Sunday, March 10. Sophomore
Louis Theodor earned his first singles win of the season in a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Damien Brenard at No. 4 singles to secure the Owls’ lone point of the match.
North Florida (6-6, 0-0) is coming off of a 5-2 win over No. 74 South Alabama on Tuesday and is riding a four-match winning streak.
Bethune-Cookman (6-7) tallied a 4-3 result over fellow A-Sun member Northern Kentucky last Tuesday and is 5-2 at its home facility, the City Islands Tennis Courts.
Greey Bay (8-5) split a pair of road matches over the weekend, first rolling past Bradley 4-0 on Friday, before dropping a tough 4-3 decision at No. 70 Wisconsin on Saturday.
Kennesaw State returns home for a 3 p.m. match against A-Sun opponent Stetson on Friday, March 22 at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
