KSU opened the tournament using a combination of offensive power and strong pitching in two Friday victories, with a 12-8 win over Missouri State and a 1-0 eight-inning victory against Coastal Carolina. The Owls then blasted Eastern Michigan, 7-0, in the first game on Saturday, before downing Butler 6-2. KSU wrapped up the tournament with a 6-5 win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday.
