Round Two Results
ROCKY FACE, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s golf team failed to advance out of a tie for 11th place after round two of the Carpet Capital Collegiate Championship held at The Farm Golf Club.
For the second day in a row, senior Ben Greene led the Owls by posting a 70, -2. Currently still tied for eighth place, Greene holds a 36-hole total of 140, -4 with eight birdies on the scorecard.
“Ben is playing really solid right,” head coach Jay Moseley said. “His ball striking has been remarkable this week and it is great to see him playing well.”
Senior Peder Lunde Hermansson and junior Jonathan Klotz are each tied for 45th in the 78-player field. Klotz was able to move up the leader board after day one, posting a 73, +1, while Hermansson dropped after shooting a 77, +5.
Freshman Nicolai von Dellingshausen rounded out the scoring for the Black and Gold as the native of Ratingen, Germany posted a 76, +4 to finish round two tied for 58th .
“Today was feast or famine,” Moseley said. “We looked great at times, but we also made some costly mistakes. This golf course demands shot making for 18-holes, but it rewards good shoots and penalizes your mistakes. Our misses were often in very bad positions that led to difficult scoring. Hopefully we will clean those mistakes up and have a better day tomorrow.”

Southeastern Conference rivals LSU and Alabama are in a deadlock for third place at 573, -3 along with Clemson who climbed the leader board after posting the second best round of the day of 7-under-par, 281.
