CO-ED and ALL GIRL CHEERLEADING

The KSU Cheerleaders are part of the spirit and tradition of KSU Athletics. As student-athletes and ambassadors for Kennesaw State University, they promote school spirit at all home football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball games, post season basketball tournaments, school events, and community functions throughout the season. They provide stunting, tumbling and spirit as well as aid in the home court advantage.The program's focus all season is enhancing the game day experience and being present in the community.

The KSU Cheerleaders are also a highly competitive program. Competing at NCA college nationals in Daytona Beach Fl we are looking to add to our 2018 National championship in only our third year competing. MASCOT SQUAD

Members of the Mascot Squad perform at home athletic events as well as other KSU and community events. They act as a motivator to keep the fans attention and enthusiasm during events to improve the overall atmosphere. Scrappy interacts with students and fans of all ages throughout events.

LIVE MASCOT - STURGIS

Sturgis, the Kennesaw State Athletics live mascot is thenewest member of the KSU spirit squad. The live owl adopted by KSU was born on April 8, 2015 in New York and was introduced to Owl Nation during the second annual "Flight Night" held at the KSU Convocation Center on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.
