MARIETTA, Ga. - The Kennesaw State tennis teams will both look to move up the Atlantic Sun Conference standings this weekend as they face off with Lipscomb on Friday morning, followed by Belmont on Saturday afternoon.  Both matches will take place at the home facility for the Owls, Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.

On the women's side, the Owls dropped two heartbreaking 4-3 matches to begin their conference seasons, losing on the road to Florida Gulf Coast University and Stetson.  The Owls (6-6, 0-2 Atlantic Sun) hope to continue their recent success against Belmont (4-6, 1-0 A-Sun) and Lipscomb (3-7, 0-1 A-Sun).  The Owls have taken the last three meetings against both teams, including a 7-0 victory against Lipscomb a year ago and a 6-1 margin against Belmont.

On the men's side, both matches should prove to be close ones, if history is any indicator.  The last two seasons have seen the three teams split their encounters with one another evenly.  The Owls (7-7, 0-2 A-Sun) were able to squeak by Belmont (4-9, 1-0 A-Sun) a year ago, 4-3, but were downed by the Bison (5-6, 0-1 A-Sun) by a score of 5-2.
