Owls Set For Final Round of Callaway Match Play

Team drops round three match-up to UNC Wilmington

BRADENTON, Fla., - The Kennesaw State men’s golf team lost round three of the Callaway Match Play Championship, 4-0 to UNC Wilmington on Monday afternoon at the Concession Golf Club.

Freshman Jimmy Beck was the Owls only golfer to finish unscathed as he battled back to halve his match against Stefan Brewer.

The remainder of the black and Gold were not so lucky as Ben Greene dropped a close 18-hole match by one hole. Matt Nagy lost 4&3 to Thomas Bass out of the No.1 spot, while Jeff Karlsson and Peder Lunde Hermansson each fell 5&4 to their opponents. Both Greene and Hermansson each held a lead at one point in their match.
