FORT MYERS, Fla. - The tennis teams will begin their quests for the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships today when both face off with Florida Gulf Coast University on the road.  Both the Owl women (5-3) and Owl men (5-4) defeated the Eagles a year ago at home.

The matches begin a Florida road swing which will feature five matches for the men, and four for the women, including a March 3 contest against Atlantic Sun foe Stetson, who both teams will be trying to defeat for the first time in history.  In addition to the two conference matches, the men will also face off with St. Joseph's, NIagara, and Bethune-Cookman.  It will be their first matchups with St. Joseph's and Niagara.  They hold a career 2-0 record against Bethune Cookman.  On the women's side, they will also face Bethune Cookman in addition to Flagler.
