KENNESAW, Ga. – Following Wednesday's home rainout against UConn on Wednesday, the Kennesaw State Owls travel to Jacksonville State to take on the Gamecocks at 6 p.m. EST. Listen to all the action live, courtesy of Jacksonville State athletics.
The Owls (13-6) had their three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday, dropping a, 2-1, decision to Penn State in eight innings. Owls freshman Amanda Henderson pitched seven shutout innings before allowed two runs, one unearned in the top of the eighth inning. They would score one in the bottom half of the inning to just fall short.
The Black and Gold are 5-6 all-time against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (9-6), and dropped an, 11-1, contest to them at Bailey Park on Mar. 1. They fell at Jacksonville State, 7-6, on Mar. 23 of last season.
