GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Kennesaw State men's golf team are tied for first with Virginia Tech with only one round to play at the Furman Intercollegiate. The Owls lost their three-stroke lead after round one shooting a 290 in round two on the Furman University Golf Course.
"We had an up and down day today and at times were executing well and at other times making silly mistakes," head coach Jay Moseley said. "The important thing is that we are still in a great position to win the tournament tomorrow."
The Black and Gold were led by sophomore
Ben Greene, who currently sits T-4th shooting a (70-70/140, -4) after 36-holes. Greene capped off Saturday's round with three birdies and an eagle on the 512 yard, par-five second hole.

The Hokies meanwhile closed out the round earning seven birdies on the final four holes to gain a share of the team lead. Both schools hold a four-stroke lead over third place Clemson and a seven-stroke lead over fourth place Purdue.
