The Black and Gold were once again led by the stellar play of junior Matt Nagy who is in third place after carding a (68, -4) over the first 18-holes.

“We played a very clean round today,” head coach Jay Moseley said. “We remained patient after a good start and finished strong on the final nine.”

Sophomore Ben Greene continued his good play turning in a (70, -2) while freshman Jonathan Klotz was the last of the Owls to shoot sub par posting a (71, -1).

Junior Jeff Karlsson finished with a (73, +1), and senior Chad Wilson rounded out the team scoring shooting a (76, +4).  Sophomore Peder Lunde Hermansson finished at (77, +) as an individual competitor.

“Tomorrow we just need to go out and play smart, solid golf and give ourselves a chance to win on Sunday,” Moseley said.
