TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished round one of the Seminole Intercollegiate in fourth place shooting a (290, +6). The Owls led by the play of sophomore Ben Greene are sandwiched in between Mississippi State and golf power house North Texas.
The Southwood Golf Club proved to be a challenge for the 18-team field as only first place Arkansas (277, -7) finished sub par. The nation's 18th ranked team holds a 10-stroke lead over second place, tournament host, Florida State (287, +3). The Razorbacks had three individuals finish in the top-three as individual leader Sebastian Cappelan (68, -3) is atop the leader board. Austin Cook (69, -2) and Ethan Tracy (69, -2) of Arkansas are both T-3rd.
Sophomore
Ben Greene was the front-runner for the Black and Gold shooting a (69, -2) to finish T-3rd. Junior
Jeff Karlsson currently resides T-10th after carding a (71, E). The Black and Gold have three individuals T-37th as junior
Matt Nagy, senior
Chad Wilson and sophomore
Peder Lunde Hermansson (individual) all posted (75, +4). Freshman
Jonathan Klotz rounded out the scoring for the Owls, finishing T-61st after shooting a (77, +6).
