VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's golf team completed the second round of the Kinderlou Forest Challenge posting a 317, +25 round. The Owls were led by sophomore Molly Winnett who after 36-holes, carded a 77-81/158, +12 score.

Coastal Carolina University still remains at the top of the leader board finishing day two at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club shooting a 303-297/600, +16. The Chanticleers maintain a 6-stroke lead over second place Chattanooga 305-301/606, +22 and Florida State 306-300/606, +22.

The individual standings is knotted up with a three-way tie between Charlotte Guilleux of Georgia State, Lauren Wearn of Furman and Casey Kennedy of Augusta State. All three competitors have finished the first two rounds with a total score of 146, even par total. Brittany Henderson of Coastal Carolina is in fourth place posting a 75-72/147, +1, while Chattanooga's Yushira Budhram and Emma de Groot are tied for fifth shooting equal scores of 148, +2.

The highlight of round two came on the 18th-hole as Florida State's Jessica Negron recorded a double eagle on the par-5, 501 yard hole.

For the Black and Gold, freshman Hayley Clining trails teammate Winnett by only two strokes. The New Zealand native finished with a 82-78/160, +14 and currently sits T-48th.  Sophomore Chelcia Petersen is T-53rd after the Gardner Webb transfer posted an 82-79/161, +15, while sophomore Ket Preamchuen (78-84/162, +16) and senior Abby Fitzgerald (83-79/162, +16) are T-59th.

The Owls will begin the final round of the second annual Kinderlou Forest Challenge Tuesday, Mar. 1 with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start.
