KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team will be looking to rebound from their first loss of the season as they will embark on a two-day, four-match trip this weekend.

The Owls will play the first two matches of their road trip on Friday in Young Harris, Ga. The Black and Gold will play Young Harris for the first time in the program’s history at 10 a.m. and then take on Presbyterian at 1 p.m. who the Owls have an all-time record of 1-1 against.

On Saturday, Kennesaw State will be in Montgomery, Ala. to play its third match of the weekend against Alabama State at 10 a.m. and then wrap up its weekend playing Alabama A&M at 2 p.m. The Owls have an all-time record of 4-0 against these two squads.

“When I scheduled this weekend's matches, I wanted to challenge our team's fitness early, so that we would be prepared for some grueling weekends during conference season,” coach Greggs said. “We've been training hard, and that is going to pay dividends for us.  Young Harris is an up and coming program in Division II, and Presbyterian always plays us very close.  On Saturday, we face two disciplined programs in Alabama A&M and Alabama State.”

Junior Elliot Kahler looks to continue his hot start to the season as he is tied for the team lead in victories with four, including a 2-0 record at the No. 3 singles spot for the Black and Gold.
