KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State's women's basketball team will try to win its third contest in a row Tuesday night when it travels to Duluth to take on metro Atlanta rival Georgia Tech.  Tipoff at The Arena at Gwinnett Center is set for 7 p.m., with live audio available via KSU All-Access.

The Lady Owls (2-1) are coming off back-to-back impressive wins.  KSU earned its second straight win with an, 81-67, decision over Jacksonville State last Saturday night at the KSU Convocation Center.  Ashley Holliday scored 23 points and dished out five assists, while Taylor Mills and Kristina Wells each had 17 points for the Lady Owls in the victory.

Last Saturday's win came on the heels of a, 68-48, win over Gardner-Webb last Tuesday.  The two victories marked KSU's first back-to-back double-digit wins since the 2009-10 season when the Lady Owls earned a, 66-51, win over JSU on Nov. 20 and a, 72-61, home win over Longwood two days later.

The win over JSU was due in large part to KSU's aggressive defense of the passing lanes.  The Lady Owls earned 19 steals in the contest and forced 24 turnovers.  KSU turned those 24 turnovers into 23 points.  The fast break was also given a chance to flourish thanks to the steals, as the Lady Owls scored 14 points on the break, compared to just two for JSU.

Georgia Tech (3-0) is coming off of a road win at Marquette last Saturday, 74-63.  Tyaunna Marshall led the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 19 points in the victory.  Tech also has wins over Alabama State and Old Dominion to its credit this season.

While Tech's home games are usually played on its downtown Atlanta campus, all women's basketball home games will be played this season at Arena at Gwinnett Center due to construction.  For directions to The Arena at Gwinnett Center, click here.

Live audio of Tuesday night's contest will be available via KSU All Access.  Brian Harper and Jason Hanes will be on the call of the broadcast.
