BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Sametria Gideon had her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Angie Smith led all scorers with 17 points as the Kennesaw State women's basketball team fell, 68-58, Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic Sun Conference contest.

The Lady Owls (3-10, 0-5) out-scored Campbell, 36-34, in the second half, even though Campbell shot 14-of-21 from the field in the half.  KSU scored 19 points off Campbell's 11 turnovers in the second half as the Lady Owls tried to get back in the contest.

Trailing 56-44 with just under eight minutes to go, the Lady Owls used a, 10-2, run to close the gap to four.  Tamasha Bolden scored all six of her points on the afternoon during the run, with Gideon and Chelcey Farrar each adding a basket.

Campbell (4-10, 3-2) would respond to KSU's run with a run to close the game.  The Lady Camels would score 10 of the game's final 14 points as KSU went 1-of-8 from the field in the game's final three minutes to fall by 10.

Smith also had a season-high six assists for the Lady Owls.  The six assists marks the most for any KSU player this season.  The junior matched her season-high with five steals, but also committed 14 turnovers on the afternoon.

Campbell overcame 13-of-26 shooting from the free-throw line to get the victory.  Eleven different players scorers for the Lady Camels, with Lauren Yesh leading the way with 14 points.  Courtney Cannon added 11 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the home squad.

The Lady Owls will be back in action next Saturday with a road contest against Florida Gulf Coast in Ft. Myers, Fla.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
