KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State's women's basketball team will try to snap a four-game Atlantic Sun Conference losing streak when it travels to Buies Creek, N.C. to face Campbell this Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Lady Owls (3-9, 0-4) will attempt to get a win over a foe that they have had success with in recent years. KSU leads the all-time series, 7-2, and has won the last six meetings against the Lady Camels. Last year, the Lady Owls won their first A-Sun road game of the season in Buies Creek Feb. 11 with a, 67-58, victory. Campbell (3-10, 2-2) has won two straight at home, including an, 80-73, win over North Florida in double overtime Wednesday night. Head coach Wanda Watkins earned her 450th career win with the victory. Tonisha Baker scored 24 points in the win over the Ospreys.
The contest marks the first of three in a row on the road for the Lady Owls, all of which will come in A-Sun play. Following Saturday's contest, the Lady Owls will next be in action Jan. 15 against Florida Gulf Coast in Fort Myers, Fla. Tipoff is slated for 7:05 p.m.
