"I am very pleased with our overall effort today," Owls head coach Jay Moseley said. "The guys came out of the gates firing and played the way we are capable of playing,”

Senior Matt Nagy finished at 2-under par, 69-71/140, to add to the Black and Gold sub-par score, while senior Chad Wilson turned in an even par score of 74-68/142.Ben Greene was the last to add to the Owls score sheet, as he finished 4-over par after shooting 73-73/146.

“The guys came out of the gates firing and played the way we are capable of playing,” Moseley said. “We left plenty of shots out there but we also made our fair share of birdies. Tomorrow we just have to go out and stick to our game plan and control our games and if we play to our potential we will come out on top."

The Owls are set to tee off tomorrow at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
