ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Kennesaw State sophomore Jeff Karlsson is one-under for the day through 14 holes in the second round of the NCAA Southeast Regional, and will complete his round once play resumes. The players were pulled off the course at 3:04 p.m. due to lightning in the area.
Karlsson, who shot a first-round five-over par 75, is currently in a tie for 23rd in the 75-player field. Starting on hole number 10 this morning, he has three birdies against just two bogeys so far on the day, and will hit his second shot on the par-4 7th hole from the fairway when play resumes.
Originally slated to tee off at 9:30 this morning, Karlsson did not get started until 10:50, as inclement weather forced the start of the second round to be delayed by over an hour.
