KENNESAW, Ga. - Audio of Kennesaw State's important Atlantic Sun Conference baseball game with longtime rival North Florida will be available for free on KSUOwls.com. The broadcast is slated to begin five minutes prior to the scheduled 1 p.m. first pitch.
"We're very happy to provide this service to our fans," said KSU Sports Information Director Mark Toma. "Our hope is that this is warmly received by both fans of the Black and Gold and fans of North Florida. If all goes well, we will attempt to do more broadcasts such as this one at a later date."
Saturday's first two games of the series will be available via ASun.TV for a nominal fee. However, the finale of the three-game set will be available on KSUOwls.com, with the link to the broadcast becoming active at the start time.
Dave Albert, who calls many of KSU's home broadcasts on ASun.TV, will be providing the play-by-play action of the game.
Sunday's contest will be the 60th all-time meeting between the Owls and the Ospreys. North Florida has a 31-26 lead in the all-time series, yet the Owls have won seven of the last nine contests.
